University of North Dakota faculty, undergrads, grad students, student organizations, along with government agencies, businesses and adult volunteers, will come together Sunday, April 27 at the Dakota Science Center’s Super Science Day.
The annual free family event is for children in grades 1-6, and will take place from 1-4 p.m. at the Purpur Arena in Grand Forks. It features hands-on activities and informational exhibits for children. The events will focus on engaging children in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic) activities.
Super Science Day is part of National Environmental Education Week.
The Scout Show featuring Boy Scout and Girl Scout activities will also be in the arena. The Grand Forks Lions Club will serve concessions.
The Dakota Science Center hopes to bring children and families together to spark an interest in the sciences during Super Science Day.
