A book signing with Warren will take place after his presentation.
This event is free to all UND students and to the general public.
PostSecret is a collection of highly personal, decorated postcards that are mailed anonymously to PostSecret headquarters from around the world. The purpose behind PostSecret is to soulfully and wholeheartedly voice personal secrets we aren’t capable of voicing to someone face to face.
Since its inception, PostSecret has received nearly a million anonymous postcards. The secrets on these postcards range from criminal activity, sexual abuse, habits, fears, sexual taboos and confessions of all magnitudes.
Fueled by the Internet, PostSecret has become a brand recognized around the world for its unique way of being a social change agent. UND has had numerous PostSecret events take place on campus through various programming bodies. The postcards made at these events are then sent anonymously to PostSecret.
PostSecret has helped raise several hundred thousand dollars for suicide prevention and the website has now had more than 630 million visitors.
Warren has been a guest on Good Morning America, The Today Show and 20/20 talking about the five PostSecret books that have been published since the website’s beginning almost 10 years ago.
