UND will conduct a monthly siren test in conjunction with the City of Grand Forks on Wednesday, Dec. 5. The UND sirens are placed strategically throughout campus at Tulane Drive (north of Facilities parking lot), Centennial Drive (next to Babcock Hall), Second Avenue (northwest of Memorial Stadium) and Princeton Street (near the Wellness Center). This monthly test will be accompanied by an announcement on the siren public address system specifying it is only a test. Aside from the regular monthly testing, the siren system will only be used in emergency situations. If you have any questions please call the UND Emergency Management Operations Center at 777.2591.
