Thirty-two UND students taking part in Kennedy Center College Theatre Arts Festival in Ames, Iowa

The University of North Dakota Department of Theatre Arts has sent 32 students to the Kennedy Center College Theatre Festival for Region V, which is being held Jan. 15-21, in Ames.

Six students and their partners were nominated by KCACTF judges to compete in the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship competition. The students include the following: Tyler Rood and partner, Daniella Lima; Abby Schoenborn and partner, Brian Dempcy; Philip Muehe and partner, Chelsie Pollert; Nick McConnell and partner, Jackie O’Neil; Emily Hogenson and partner, Jordan Wolfe, and Hyrum Patterson and partner, Casey Paradies.  Students

will participate in workshops with theatre professionals, see more than 20 college productions and have the opportunity to audition for summer theater.
