The University of North Dakota will hold its largest ever Winter Commencement on Dec. 16 at the Chester Fritz Auditorium with about 900 students eligible for degrees, an increase of 150 from a year ago.
The ceremony for all professional and graduate degrees will begin at 10 a.m.; all undergraduate degrees will be awarded at the ceremony beginning at 2 p.m.
For family and friends unable to attend or who chose not to brave the winter weather, both ceremonies will be webcast and televised live on Friday, Dec. 16.
The video streams will be available by 9:30 a.m. through a link on UND’s home page (www.und.edu). UND’s Cable Channel 3 will appear on the stream until each ceremony begins. In addition, both ceremonies will be televised locally on Channel 3.
